How to score Dinoblivion, from families to eggs
Type the points of each player's families, totems, dinosaurs and eggs: Teamzy keeps the score sheet and adds up the totals. A tie? The levels of the defeated dinosaurs, on their own line, decide the winner.

Dinoblivion in 30 seconds
Dinoblivion is a two-player card game from the Quebec publisher Goblivion Games, set in a prehistoric world where humans live among dinosaurs. On your turn, you use the 4 cards in your hand in any order: each Clan card takes one action, such as hunting to reveal cards from the Jungle, fighting a dinosaur or bringing a Totem into play, where it stays. Each defeated dinosaur gives rewards, often eggs, kept face down until the end. When the Jungle or one of the two dinosaur piles is empty, everyone finishes the turn, then each player counts their families, Totem symbols, dinosaurs and eggs.
What scores points at the end
Everything is counted at the final scoring, in four categories: the families of your clan, the Totem symbols on your cards in play, the defeated dinosaurs and the eggs, revealed at that moment. Food, Dino tokens and Buddy pawns score nothing. At the final scoring, dinosaur levels only break a tie.
The points, the end and the tiebreaker
| What counts | Points |
|---|---|
| Complete family in your clan | 2 |
| Single Clan card | 0 |
| Totem symbol on your cards in play | 1 |
| Totem card (3 symbols) | 3 |
| Defeated dinosaur | 1 |
| Egg, revealed at the end | 1 or 2 |
| End of the match | Jungle or a dinosaur pile empty, finish the turn |
| Tie | most dinosaur levels |
The example score sheet
The end of the match told below. Before the eggs, Léa leads 22 to 18. Hugo's eggs bring it level at 26 each, and the Levels line, below the total, settles it.
| Hugo | Léa | |
|---|---|---|
| Families | 8 | 10 |
| Totems | 6 | 7 |
| Dinosaurs | 4 | 5 |
| Eggs | 8 | 4 |
| Total | 26 | 26 |
| Tiebreaker | ||
| Levels | 7 | 5 |
Hugo wins on the tiebreaker: 7 dinosaur levels to 5, with 26 points each.
The end of a match, decided on levels
Hugo and Léa are playing a close duel. Hugo hunts the big dinosaurs, Léa grows her clan and brings Totems into play.
- 1Hugo, the first player, defeats the last dinosaur of a pile: it is empty, and the end of the match is triggered. He finishes his turn, then Léa plays one last turn.
- 2Hugo counts 4 complete families (8 points), 6 Totem symbols (6 points) and 4 defeated dinosaurs (4 points): 18 points before the eggs.
- 3Léa counts 5 families (10 points), the Totem card and 4 other Totem symbols (7 points) and 5 defeated dinosaurs (5 points): 22 points. Her last Clan card, left on its own, is worth nothing.
- 4The eggs are revealed. Hugo has 5, three worth 2 points and two worth 1: 8 points. Léa has 3, for 4 points. 26 each.
- 5A tie: each player adds up the levels of their defeated dinosaurs. Hugo beat one level 1 dinosaur and three level 2, so 7. Léa beat five level 1, so 5.
Hugo wins on the tiebreaker, 7 levels to 5, with the same total of 26 points.
In Teamzy, you type the points of each category, then the levels on the Levels line, below the total: it is not added to the points. The app sees the tie at 26, puts Hugo in the lead on the tiebreaker and keeps the match in the history.

The questions that come up at the table
At the end of the match, each player adds up four categories: 2 points per complete family in their clan, 1 point per Totem symbol on their cards in play, 1 point per defeated dinosaur, and their eggs, revealed at that moment, worth 1 or 2 points each. The highest total wins. In Teamzy, the score sheet has one line per category, Families, Totems, Dinosaurs and Eggs, and the total adds up by itself.
The Dinoblivion rules on the Goblivion Games websiteYour Clan cards show half symbols. At the final scoring, you gather the Clan cards from your deck and your discard pile, and match them to form as many whole symbols as possible: each completed symbol is a family, worth 2 points. A Clan card left on its own is worth nothing. On the Families line in Teamzy, type the points: 10 for 5 families.
Totems stay in play once you bring them in. At the end, count the Totem symbols on all your cards in play, 1 point each. The card called Totem shows 3 of them: it is worth 3 points on its own. Type the total on the Totems line.
Each defeated dinosaur is worth 1 point, whatever its level. You get eggs mostly by beating dinosaurs, and they stay face down until the end: they are revealed at the final scoring, and each one is worth 1 or 2 points. Once the egg bank is empty, nobody gets any more.
As soon as a player empties the Jungle or one of the two dinosaur piles, the end is triggered. That player finishes their turn. If it is the first player, the one with the Mace token, the other player gets one last turn: both have played the same number of turns. Then comes the final scoring.
Each player adds up the levels of the dinosaurs they defeated, 1 or 2 per dinosaur: the highest total wins. If it is still a tie, both players win. In Teamzy, type these levels on the Levels line, below the total: it is not added to the points and only counts on a tie, as for Hugo in the example.
Yes, the box has a solo mode: you face the Jungle and its enemies, and you win if you eliminate every dinosaur before it runs out. There are no points to compare, and Teamzy does not handle this mode: the app scores two-player duels.
