Splendor Duel in 30 seconds
Splendor Duel is the two-player game based on Splendor, published by Space Cowboys. On your turn, you take a single action: take gem tokens from the board, reserve a card or buy a Jewel card. Jewel cards give you color bonuses, prestige points and sometimes crowns. On your 3rd and then your 6th crown, you get a Royal card, which also scores points. At the end of your turn, you win at once with 20 prestige points, 10 crowns or 10 points on cards of one color. It is not Splendor: no nobles, no end at 15 points, and always two players.
What scores points, and what wins the match
Only prestige points add up: those on your Jewel cards and those on your Royal cards. Crowns and colors are not added to the total, but they can win you the match at once. Tokens, gold and privileges are worth nothing.

The end of a match, won by crowns
Lucas and Emma are playing a close match. Lucas goes for prestige points, Emma for crowns.
- 1Lucas has 14 points on his Jewel cards and a Royal card worth 3, taken on his 3rd crown: 17 points. Three more and he reaches 20.
- 2Emma only has 13 points: 9 on her Jewel cards and two Royal cards worth 2, taken on her 3rd and 6th crowns.
- 3But she already has 9 crowns. On her turn, she buys a Jewel card with a crown on it: her tenth.
- 4At the end of her turn, Emma has 10 crowns: instant win. The match stops right there, and Lucas does not play again.
- 5On points, Lucas leads 17 to 13. It doesn't matter: the first condition met wins.
Emma wins by crowns with 13 prestige points, while Lucas had 17.
In Teamzy, you type the points of each player's Jewel cards and Royal cards, then check Emma's Instant win box: the app declares her the winner despite her 13 points, and keeps the match in the history.

The questions that come up at the table
Add up the prestige points printed on your Jewel cards and those on your Royal cards. Crowns, color bonuses, tokens and privileges are not added. In Teamzy, the score sheet has two lines, Jewel cards and Royal cards, and the total adds itself up.
The Splendor Duel rules on the Space Cowboys websiteThere are three, checked at the end of your turn: 20 or more prestige points, 10 or more crowns, or 10 or more prestige points on cards of one color. The first one met wins at once, whatever your opponent's points. If you meet several at the same time, you win just the same.
The prestige points of your Jewel cards whose bonus is that color. A card placed on another to take its color counts for that color. Royal cards have no color: their points count toward the 20 points, not toward a color.
On your 3rd crown, then on your 6th, you take one of the Royal cards still available, and it doesn't count as an action. It scores the prestige points printed on it (2 or 3), and most of them also give an effect. There are only four: the ones your opponent took are gone.
No. Only the Jewel cards you bought and your Royal cards score points. A reserved card doesn't count until you buy it, and it costs you nothing if you still hold it at the end. Tokens, gold and privileges are worth no points.
Check the winner's Instant win box, under the total. Teamzy declares them the winner whatever the totals, even with fewer points, like Emma in the example. For a win at 20 points, no box needed: the winner always has the highest total, since the opponent has not reached 20 yet.
No. The conditions are checked at the end of each player's turn, one turn at a time: the first player to meet one wins, and the match stops at once. So there is no tie and no tiebreaker.
No. Splendor Duel is for two players only, with three ways to win and crowns. Splendor, the original game, is played by 2 to 4 players with nobles, and ends when a player reaches 15 points, once the round is finished. Teamzy knows both, each with its own rules and score sheet.
