Keep score at Pass the Pigs, Makin' Bacon and Piggyback included
At the end of each round, you type the points everyone banked, 0 for anyone who lost their turn: Teamzy adds up the totals, handles Makin' Bacon and stops the match as soon as someone reaches 100.

Pass the Pigs in 30 seconds
Pass the Pigs is a dice game where the dice are two little plastic pigs, for 2 players or more with no upper limit (the Winning Moves box is called Jeu de cochons in French and is also sold in German as Schweinerei). On your turn you throw both pigs, and the way they land makes your points: on their feet, on their back, on their snout, on their snout and an ear. After every throw, you either throw again to score more, or stop and bank your turn's points. But a bad throw is costly: Pig Out, and you lose your turn's points; Makin' Bacon, and you lose your whole score; Piggyback, and you are out of the match. The first player to reach 100 points wins right away.
What each position is worth
Each pig lands in a position, and each position is worth points. Both pigs in the same position is a double: 20, 20, 40 or 60. Two different positions: you add them up. One pig on its side and the other in a position: only the position counts. Both pigs on the same side, a Sider, are worth 1 point. And three throws are to avoid: Pig Out, Makin' Bacon and Piggyback.
The points of a throw
| What counts | Points |
|---|---|
| Trotter (standing on all fours) | 5 |
| Razorback (on its back) | 5 |
| Snouter (on its snout) | 10 |
| Leaning Jowler (on its snout and an ear) | 15 |
| Both in the same position | 20, 20, 40 or 60 |
| Two different positions | add them up |
| Sider (both on the same side) | 1 |
| Only one pig on its side | only the other counts |
| Pig Out (opposite sides) | turn lost, write 0 |
| Makin’ Bacon (the pigs touch) | your whole score: your total as a negative |
| Piggyback (one on top of the other) | eliminated, write 0 from then on |
One of Emma's turns, throw by throw
The last turn of the match told below: two throws, then Emma stops and banks her turn's points.
| Throw | Pigs | Sum | Turn points |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Trotter and Snouter | 5 + 10 = 15 | 15 |
| 2 | Leaning Jowler, the other pig on its side | 15 + 0 = 15 | 30 |
Emma stops: her 30 points for the turn are banked, and 75 + 30 makes 105.

Emma, Hugo and Léa play, in that order. A round is one turn around the table: each player takes their turn, throws the pigs as often as they like and banks their points when they stop.
- 1Round 1. Emma stops at 35, Hugo at 30, Léa at 45. Nobody lost their turn.
- 2Round 2. Emma adds 40 and moves to 75. Hugo, with his 30 points, throws once too often: the two pigs touch, Makin' Bacon, and he loses his whole score. Léa throws two Trotters, a double, and banks 20 points: she moves to 65.
- 3Round 3. Emma plays first. First throw: Trotter and Snouter, 5 + 10, that is 15. She throws again: Leaning Jowler, the other pig on its side, 15 more, 30 for the turn. She stops, 75 + 30: 105, she has reached 100 and the match stops right away.
- 4Hugo and Léa have not played again in this round: they write down 0.
Emma wins with 105 points, ahead of Léa (65) and Hugo (0).
In Teamzy, at the end of each round you type the points everyone banked: 35, 30 and 45, then 40, −30 (Hugo's total as a negative, with the ± button) and 20, then 30 for Emma and nothing for the others (an empty box counts as 0). The app adds up the totals, ranks from highest to lowest and stops the match as soon as someone reaches 100. While you type, “How do you count the points?” recalls every position.

The questions that come up at the table
Throw both pigs and look at the position of each: Trotter (standing on all fours) 5, Razorback (on its back) 5, Snouter (on its snout) 10, Leaning Jowler (on its snout and an ear) 15. If both are in the same position, it is a double: 20, 20, 40 or 60. Two different positions: you add them up, a Trotter and a Leaning Jowler make 5 + 15, that is 20. Then you throw again, or you stop and bank your turn's points.
The Pass the Pigs rules (PDF, in French)Nothing on its own: if one pig is on its side and the other in a position, only the position counts, so a Trotter with a pig on its side is worth 5. If both lie on the same side, that is a Sider: 1 point. If they lie on opposite sides, that is a Pig Out.
Both pigs lying on opposite sides. You lose your turn's points and pass the pigs on, but the points you banked in earlier turns stay as they are. In Teamzy, you write 0 for the round.
When the two pigs touch, you lose your whole score since the start of the match, not just your turn's points. In the example, Hugo had 30 points and drops back to 0. In Teamzy, type your total as a negative with the ± button: −30 for Hugo, and his total drops back to 0.
That is a Piggyback: when one pig lands on the other, you are out of the match, and the others carry on without you. In Teamzy, you write 0 for every round that follows.
The first player to reach 100 points wins right away: the match stops with no last round for the others. You can play with 2 players or more, with no upper limit. In Teamzy, those who have not played yet in the round write down 0, like Hugo and Léa in the example. For a shorter match, the target of 100 can be changed in the game settings.
The rules do not mention it, and it should not happen: the match stops as soon as the first player reaches 100, before the next players have taken their turn.
Yes. Pass the Pigs is called Jeu de cochons in French. In German it was long known as Schweinerei (from MB, then Winning Moves), and the current box is also sold as Pass the Pigs. The positions are Trotter, Razorback, Snouter and Leaning Jowler, and the special cases Sider, Pig Out, Makin' Bacon and Piggyback. Teamzy shows the game's name in the language of your app.
Hog Call is a variant of Pass the Pigs where another player can bet on how the throw will land. It is not part of the rules of the Winning Moves box, which Teamzy follows. If your table plays with it, type everyone's points as your table counted them: the app adds up the totals.
