How to score Seasons, from crystals to penalties
Type each player's crystals, cards in play, cards in hand and bonuses. Teamzy, your score sheet, takes the penalties off the total. A tie? The cards summoned, on their own line, decide the winner.

Seasons in 30 seconds
Seasons is a card and dice game by Régis Bonnessée, published by Libellud, in which 2 to 4 wizards compete in a three-year tournament. In the Prelude, each player picks 9 Power cards and splits them between their three years. Each round, every player takes a season die, which gives them energy, crystals or other actions, then can summon Power cards by paying their cost. The die nobody took moves the Season token forward. After the 3rd year, each player adds up their crystals and the prestige points of their cards in play, then takes off their penalties.
What scores points at the end, and what costs them
Everything is counted at the end of the match, in four categories: two to add, the crystals on your track and the prestige points of your Power cards in play, and two subtracted, 5 points per Power card still in hand and your bonus penalty. At the final scoring, leftover energy scores nothing, and the cards summoned only break a tie.

The example score sheet
The end of the match told below. Before the penalties, Hugo leads with 160 points. His two cards left in hand and his three bonuses cost him 30 points: Léa moves ahead.
| Hugo | Léa | Emma | |
|---|---|---|---|

| Cards in handSubtracted | −10 | 0 | −5 |
| Bonuses usedSubtracted | −20 | −5 | −12 |
| Total | 130 | 143 | 115 |
Léa wins with 143 points, ahead of Hugo (130) and Emma (115).
The end of a match, turned around by the penalties
Hugo, Léa and Emma play a three-player match. Hugo transmutes all the energy he can and gladly uses his bonuses. Léa summons her Power cards one by one.
- 1Third year, end of a round: the die nobody took moves the Season token past the 12th space. The match is over, time to count.
- 2Hugo has 96 crystals and 64 prestige points on his cards in play: 160 points. Léa has 78 crystals and 70 points of cards, 148 in all. Emma, 70 and 62, 132 in all. Hugo leads by 12 points.
- 3Now the penalties. Hugo still has 2 Power cards in hand that he couldn't summon: 10 points off. He used his 3 bonuses: another 20 points off. He drops to 130.
- 4Léa has no cards left in hand and used only one bonus: a 5-point penalty, she ends on 143. Emma takes off 5 points for one card in hand and 12 for 2 bonuses: 115.
Léa wins with 143 points, ahead of Hugo (130) and Emma (115). Hugo led before the penalties, but they cost him 30 points, against 5 for Léa.
In Teamzy, you type the crystals and the points of the cards in play, then the penalties without a minus sign on the Cards in hand and Bonuses used lines: 10 for 2 cards, 20 for 3 bonuses. The app takes them off the total, puts Léa in the lead and keeps the match in the history.

The questions that come up at the table
At the end of the match, each player adds up their crystals, 1 point each, and the prestige points shown on their Power cards in play. Then they take off 5 points per Power card still in hand, and their bonus penalty: 5, 12 or 20 points for 1, 2 or 3 bonuses used. The highest total wins. In Teamzy, the score sheet has one line per category, Crystals, Cards in play, Cards in hand and Bonuses used, and the total adds itself up.
The Seasons rules on the Libellud websiteEach time you use a bonus from your board, your token moves one space along your Bonus track. At the end, the penalty depends on how many bonuses you used: 5 points for 1 bonus, 12 for 2 and 20 for 3. You can use 3 at most in a match, the same one three times or different ones. On Teamzy's Bonuses used line, type the penalty without a minus sign: 12 for 2 bonuses.
At the final scoring, each Power card still in your hand costs you 5 points, including the ones from your 3rd year that you couldn't summon. On the Cards in hand line, type 5 per card: 10 for 2 cards. Teamzy takes those points off the total.
Not directly. Energy still in your reserve at the end of the match is worth nothing: only crystals count, 1 point each, like those you transmuted before the end. The one exception is a few Power cards that give crystals at the end of the match, some of them by turning the energy in your reserve into crystals: count those crystals on your Crystals line.
Yes, a few cards have negative prestige points. On the Cards in play line, type the total of your cards in play with those negative points taken off: 64 for cards worth 69 points plus one negative card, say at −5.
During the 3rd year, if the Season token has gone past the 12th space of the season wheel at the end of a round, the match stops. Since the token moves according to the die nobody took, the end comes sooner or later. Then comes the final scoring.
If players are tied on prestige points, whoever summoned the most Power cards wins. In Teamzy, type that number on the Cards summoned line, below the total: it isn't added to the points and only counts in a tie.
Teamzy scores a match of the base game. The Enchanted Kingdom and Path of Destiny expansions add Special Ability tokens that gain or lose prestige points at the end, and Path of Destiny adds Destiny points: the app has no line for them. The Prelude, where each player picks their 9 Power cards, scores no points: there is nothing to count there.
