How to score 7 Wonders, from conflicts to science
Type each player's wonder, treasury, conflicts, structures, science and guilds, just like on the score pad. Teamzy takes the defeats off the total. A tie? The coins, on their own line, decide the winner.

7 Wonders in 30 seconds
7 Wonders is a card game by Antoine Bauza, published by Repos Production, where 3 to 7 players each build a city of the ancient world. The match is played over three Ages. Each turn, everyone picks a card from their hand and passes the rest to their neighbor, then builds a structure, a stage of their wonder, or discards the card for 3 coins. At the end of each Age, everyone compares their military strength with that of their two neighbors. After Age III, you score category by category, just like on the score pad.
What scores points at the end
Everything is counted after Age III, one category after another: the wonder stages built, 1 point per set of 3 coins, the Victory tokens (1, 3 or 5 depending on the Age) minus 1 point per Defeat token, the civilian structures, commerce, science and guilds. Science takes some math: each symbol scores its count squared, and each set of three different symbols adds 7 points. On a tie, the most coins wins.
The points, category by category
| What counts | Points |
|---|---|
| Wonder stage built | what it says |
| Treasury: 3 coins | 1 |
| Victory token (Age I, II, III) | 1, 3 or 5 |
| Defeat token | -1 |
| Civilian structure (blue) | what it says |
| Commerce and guilds (yellow, purple) | as the card says |
| Science: identical symbols | their number squared |
| Science: 3 different symbols | 7 |
| End of the match | After Age III |
| Tie | most coins |
Léa's science, symbol by symbol
Léa has 3 compasses, 2 gears and 2 tablets. Each symbol scores its count squared, then each set of three different symbols is worth 7 points: with at least 2 of each, she has two sets.
| Symbol | Count | Points |
|---|---|---|
| Compasses | 3 | 3 × 3 = 9 |
| Gears | 2 | 2 × 2 = 4 |
| Tablets | 2 | 2 × 2 = 4 |
| Sets of 3 different symbols | 2 | 2 × 7 = 14 |
| Léa's science | 31 | |
The example score sheet
The end of the match told below. Before science, Hugo leads with 47 points and Léa is last with 15. Her 31 science points and her guilds bring her up to 49, tied with Hugo: the Coins line, below the total, makes the difference.

Léa wins on the tiebreaker: 8 coins to 7, at 49 points each. Chloé follows with 46, Nathan with 44.
The score sheet to print
A 7 Wonders score sheet in US Letter, for 3 to 7 players: one line per category as on the score pad, the defeats to subtract, the total, and a line for coins in case of a tie. At the bottom, a reminder of how science scores. Print it for your next match, or let Teamzy keep score.

Four of them play: Léa, Hugo, Chloé and Nathan, seated in that order around the table. Hugo arms his city and builds civilian structures. Léa, his neighbor, stays out of the conflicts and collects green cards.
- 1End of Age III: Hugo has more shields than both his neighbors, Léa and Chloé, and takes two Victory tokens worth 5 points. Over the match, he totals 15 points of victories and a single Defeat token, taken against Chloé in Age II.
- 2You count the wonder, treasury, conflicts, civilian structures and commerce. Hugo has 47 points, Chloé 42, Nathan 31. Léa, who lost three conflicts against Hugo, has only 15 points.
- 3Now science. Léa has 3 compasses, 2 gears and 2 tablets: 9 + 4 + 4 for the identical symbols, plus two sets of three different symbols, 14 points. Her science is worth 31. With her 3 guild points, she reaches 49.
- 4Hugo only has one compass and one gear, 2 science points, and no guild: 49 as well. A tie. You compare treasuries: Léa has 8 coins, Hugo 7.
Léa wins with 49 points. Hugo is tied on points but has one coin less; Chloé follows with 46, Nathan with 44. Last before science, Léa finishes first.
In Teamzy, you type each category on its own line, just like on the score pad: the treasury in points, 2 for 8 coins, the defeats without a minus sign on the Military defeats line, 3 for 3 tokens, and the science points already worked out, 31 for Léa. The coins go on the Coins line, below the total: it is not added to the points and gives the win to Léa on a tie. The app keeps the match in the history.

The questions that come up at the table
The match ends after Age III, once the last military conflicts are resolved. Everyone then adds up, category by category: the points of the wonder stages built, 1 point per set of 3 coins, their Victory tokens minus their Defeat tokens, the points of their civilian structures, commercial and guild cards, and their science. The highest total wins. In Teamzy, the score sheet has one line per category, and the total adds itself up.
The 7 Wonders rules on the Repos Production websiteIn two ways that add up. First, for each of the three symbols, compass, gear and tablet, count how many you have and square it: 1 symbol is worth 1 point, 2 are worth 4, 3 are worth 9, 4 are worth 16. Then each set of three different symbols scores 7 points. With 3 compasses, 2 gears and 2 tablets: 9 + 4 + 4, plus 2 sets, 14 points, for 31. The symbols on your wonder count too. In Teamzy, type this total on the Science line.
Some cards, like the Scientists Guild, or some wonder stages give a symbol of your choice. You pick it at the final scoring, wherever it scores the most, and that is not always the one that completes a set. With 3 compasses, 1 gear and 1 tablet (18 points), making it a gear gives 21 points, but a 4th compass gives 25. These points go on the Science line, not the Guilds line.
At the end of each Age, compare your shields with those of each of your two neighbors. If you have more, you take a Victory token: 1 point in Age I, 3 in Age II, 5 in Age III. If you have fewer, a Defeat token, which takes off 1 point, whatever the Age. If the shields are tied, nobody takes a token. In Teamzy, victories and defeats each have their own line: type the defeats without a minus sign, the app subtracts them from the total.
1 point for each full set of 3 coins: 8 coins make 2 points, and the 2 coins left over score nothing. Still keep the exact count of your coins: it breaks a tie. In Teamzy, type the points on the Treasury line (2 for 8 coins), and the coins on the Coins line.
Many yellow cards only give coins or resources, and are worth nothing at the final scoring. Others, in Age III, score points depending on what is in your city, as the card says. Add up these points on the Commerce line; if there are none, leave 0.
On a tie in points, the player with the most coins in their treasury wins. If the coins are tied too, the players share the victory. In Teamzy, type each player's coins on the Coins line, below the total: it is not added to the points and only counts on a tie.
The rules of the 2020 new edition, the one Repos Production sells today, score the same way: same categories, same science, same tiebreaker on coins. Teamzy scores matches of the base game: expansions like Leaders or Cities add points the app has no line for. 7 Wonders Duel, for two, is scored differently, with instant wins: Teamzy has a separate score sheet for it.
