Pandemic without a scorekeeper: you pick Won or Lost, Teamzy counts the wins
In Pandemic, the whole table wins or loses together against the game. At the end, you pick Won or Lost, and Teamzy keeps the match in the history. Over your game nights, you see how many matches your table has really won.

Pandemic in 30 seconds
Pandemic is a cooperative game from Z-Man Games for 2 to 4 players, where the whole table fights together against four diseases spreading across a map of the world. Everyone plays a role with special powers: on their turn, a player does up to 4 actions, draws 2 Player cards, then the diseases spread. There are no points and nobody wins alone: the table wins or loses as one, against the game. It wins as soon as the 4 cures are discovered. It loses at the 8th outbreak, when there are not enough cubes of one disease left to place, or when there are not enough Player cards left to draw.
How a game of Pandemic ends
There is nothing to count: the game stops as soon as the table has won or lost. It is won the moment the 4th cure is discovered, even if disease cubes remain on the board: you do not have to eradicate the diseases. It is lost as soon as one of the three losing conditions is met, and the whole table loses together. In Teamzy there is nothing to enter: you pick Won or Lost.
How a game ends, and the difficulty level
| What counts | Points |
|---|---|
| The 4 cures discovered | won |
| 8 outbreaks | lost |
| No cubes of a disease left to place | lost |
| Not enough player cards left to draw | lost |
| Difficulty: Epidemic cards | 4, 5 or 6 |
An evening for four, 6 outbreaks, the 4th cure and a win
Lucas, Emma, Hugo and Léa set up Pandemic and choose the Standard level: 5 Epidemic cards shuffled into the Player deck. Each takes a role, and the table plays together against the game. In Teamzy there is no draw and no level to set: "Whole table" gathers the four players.
- 1Turns follow one another: 4 actions, then 2 Player cards drawn, then the diseases spread. Each Epidemic card speeds up the spread, and each outbreak moves the outbreaks marker forward one space.
- 2Over the evening, the table discovers the cures one after another: three are already found, but the outbreaks keep piling up.
- 3The outbreaks marker reaches space 6. The table is two outbreaks away from defeat, and only one cure is missing: the last one.
- 4Léa reaches a research station and discards 5 City cards of one color: the 4th cure is discovered. The game stops on the spot.
The table wins: the 4 cures are discovered. The 6 outbreaks and the cubes still on the board change nothing: you do not have to eradicate the diseases, and there are no points, only a shared win.
In Teamzy, on the end-of-game screen, "Whole table" gathers Lucas, Emma, Hugo and Léa: tap Won, then save the match: it joins the history, won by the whole table. "Save and play again" saves it the same way and sets up the next match with the same table. Before tonight, 5 matches of Pandemic had already been played: 3 won and 2 lost. With this one, the game details show 6 matches, and each of the four players has 4 wins, a 67% rate: three are under "The best", the fourth in "See the full leaderboard". Teamzy remembers every match and keeps the count for you: all you have to do is play.

The questions that come up at the table
The table wins as soon as the 4 cures are discovered: one cure per disease (blue, yellow, black and red), found at a research station by discarding 5 City cards of one color (4 for the Scientist). The win is immediate and shared by every player. In Teamzy, you tap Won on the end-of-game screen: the match joins the history and the game details.
The Pandemic page and its rulebook on the Z-Man Games website (in English)The whole table loses at once in three cases: the outbreaks marker reaches the last space, which is the 8th outbreak; there are not enough cubes of one disease left to place; or there are not enough Player cards left to draw (2 at the end of a player's actions). The game stops on the spot, even if only one cure was missing. In Teamzy, you tap Lost: the defeat counts for the whole table, never for a single player.
No. Discovering the 4 cures is enough: the game then stops at once, whatever the number of cubes still on the board. Eradicating a disease (discovering its cure, then removing all its cubes from the board) is only an advantage: no new cubes are placed for it.
The level depends on the number of Epidemic cards shuffled into the Player deck: 4 for an Introductory game, 5 for a Standard game, 6 for a Heroic game. The rulebook suggests 4 cards for a first game, and 6 only after mastering the Standard level. Teamzy shows these numbers in the "How do you win?" help, but it does not save the level: the match keeps only Won or Lost.
No. Pandemic is cooperative: there are no points and no score, and nobody wins alone. The whole table wins or loses together, against the game. That is why Teamzy has no score sheet for this game: at the end, you pick Won or Lost, and the app counts the wins of those who play. Teamzy sets up a match of Pandemic for 2 to 4 players, as in the base game; solo variants and the other boxes of the family are left aside.
With Teamzy: save each Pandemic match with Won or Lost. The game details show how many matches were played and, under "The best", each player's wins with their win rate. Since the whole table wins or loses together, everyone who plays every match has the same figure, which is your table's. "See the full leaderboard" lists them all, and every match stays in the history.
