Count the points in Splendor, from cards to nobles
At the end, you type each player's card points and noble points, then the number of cards bought. Teamzy adds it up and names the winner. A tie? Whoever bought the fewest cards wins.

Splendor in 30 seconds
Splendor is a card and gem-token game published by Space Cowboys, where 2 to 4 players each play for themselves. On your turn you take a single action: take gem tokens, reserve a card or buy a Development card. The cards you buy give you bonuses that lower the price of the next ones, and often prestige points. When you have enough bonuses for a Noble tile, it joins you. As soon as a player has 15 points at the end of their turn, everyone finishes the round and the highest total wins.
What scores points
Your score is the sum of the prestige points printed on the Development cards you bought, plus 3 points for each Noble tile you received. A reserved card scores nothing until you buy it, and tokens are worth no points. When a player has 15 points or more at the end of their turn, the end of the game is triggered: all players must have had the same number of turns, so play continues up to the player to the right of the first player, who goes last. The highest total wins. On a tie, whoever bought the fewest cards wins; if it is still tied, the victory is shared.
The points, the end and the tie
| What counts | Points |
|---|---|
| Points printed on the cards you bought | what it says |
| Noble tile received | 3 |
| End of the match | At 15 points, everyone finishes the turn |
| Tie | fewest cards bought |
The example sheet
The end of the game told below, noted in Teamzy: the card points, the nobles, then the tiebreaker line at the bottom. Lucas triggered the end at 15 points, but he is not the one who wins.
| Lucas | Emma | Hugo | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Card points | 15 | 13 | 13 |
| Nobles | 0 | 3 | 3 |
| Total | 15 | 16 | 16 |
| Tiebreaker | |||
| Cards bought | 12 | 11 | 10 |
Hugo wins with 16 points, level with Emma, but with one card fewer bought (10 against her 11). Lucas finishes on 15.
An ending played out to the last turn
Lucas, Emma and Hugo play as three. Lucas is the first player: Emma plays after him, then Hugo, who goes last.
- 1At the end of his turn, Lucas has 15 points: 15 on his 12 purchased cards, no noble. He triggers the end of the game, but he does not end it: Emma and Hugo have not played this round yet.
- 2Emma has 14 points: 11 on her cards and a noble. She buys a 2-point card and moves to 16.
- 3Hugo, the last to play, has 12 points: 9 on his cards and a noble. He buys a 4-point card and reaches 16 as well.
- 4Everyone has had the same number of turns: the game stops. Lucas has 15 points, Emma and Hugo 16 each. Emma bought 11 cards, Hugo 10: the fewest cards wins.
Hugo wins with 16 points, level with Emma but with one card fewer bought. Lucas, who triggered the end, finishes third with 15.
In Teamzy, you type everyone's card points: 15 for Lucas, 13 for Emma and for Hugo. On the Nobles line, you type 3 for Emma and for Hugo, and 0 for Lucas. Under the total, on Cards bought, you type 12, 11 and 10: this line is not added to the points and only matters on a tie. Teamzy adds it up, names Hugo and keeps the match in the history. It does not watch for 15 points: your table has to notice when the end is triggered, then play the round out.

The questions that come up at the table
The table and the example above show the count. In Teamzy, the score sheet has three lines: Card points, Nobles and, for ties, Cards bought. The total is worked out for you.
The Splendor rulebook from Space Cowboys (PDF, in English)Not until you buy it. If it is still in your hand when the game ends, you lose no points: it simply scores nothing. Tokens do not count either.
A noble is worth 3 points. You get it at the end of your turn, without it being an action, when you have the number and colors of bonuses shown on its tile. You only get one per turn: if you qualify for several, you pick one and the others may still be there next turn. In Teamzy, type 3 on the Nobles line for each noble, so 6 for two. The app checks neither the bonuses nor the limit of one noble per turn: your table has to check them.
No, they only trigger the end: the others finish the round, and one of them can pass or match them, like Hugo in the example. In Teamzy, nothing stops at 15 points: type the totals once the last turn is played.
Whoever bought the fewest cards; if it is still tied, the victory is shared. In Teamzy, type everyone's number of cards bought on the Cards bought line, under the total. If everything is equal, the app shows a tie for the lead.
No. With 2, 3 or 4 players the points are counted the same way and the end is triggered at 15 points. Only the setup changes: the number of tokens and nobles in play depends on the number of players. Teamzy supports 2 to 4 players.
Splendor Duel is a separate game, for two, with its own ways to win: it has its own page and sheet in Teamzy. The Splendor expansions add their own rules: Teamzy counts Splendor. To add points, open the game's sheet before the match, tap "Add a category", name it and choose the "Typed" kind. At the end, type everyone's points on that line.
